Fans who attended Neil Diamond's show at Ohio State University Tuesday night weren't feeling the love. Many left early, complaining of Diamond's raspy voice. What they weren't aware of, however, is that the legendary songwriter had laryngitis.
Diamond, touring behind his recently-released 'Home Before Dark,' didn't mention the illness during the gig, but he's heard the gripes and is making amends. Fans who submit requests before September 5 will receive a refund for the show. "I haven't let you down before and I won't let you down now," Diamond said.
Wednesday night's Green Bay, Wisconsin show has been moved to September 10, and Friday's St. Louis concert will now take place on September 12.
