King returns with an inspired set of covers that revisits his musical influences from the 1950s, including Blind Lemon Jefferson, Howlin' Wolf and Lonnie Johnson. With the help of producer T Bone Burnett (Robert Plant & Alison Krauss, Elvis Costello), the record re-creates the vintage sound of the '50s by bringing in several heavyweight musicians to play alongside the blues king, including New Orleans piano legend Dr. John.
