On This Date in 1983: 'Sweet Dreams (Are Made of This),' by Eurythmics, claims the No. 1 spot on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart.The Almanac Advises for September 3: "Some researchers believe that the food you eat before going to bed can shape your dreams. Factors such as drugs or alcohol can also influence the brain waves during sleep."
