Bruce Springsteen has penned an acoustic song for a new Darren Aronofsky movie, 'The Wrestler,' which screens at the Venice Film Festival this week.An ESPN columnist, Paul Lukas, will open a pair of dates for the Magnetic Fields.
Ben Folds Five will reunite for a show in Chapel Hill, North Carlina on Thursday, Sept. 18. The band, who split in 2000, will perform their final album 'The Unauthorized Biography of Reinhold Messner' in its entirety. The concert will be filmed for broadcast on MySpace.
Kings of Leon are previewing the forthcoming album 'Only by the Night' by posting exclusive home movies on their website each day until the album is released.
The Verve released a vinyl box set of their new album 'Forth' on September 3. With a limited release of only 5,000 copies, the set includes bonus material including a documentary, two additional tracks, a poster and more.
