Kid Rock Owes His Soul to Amy Winehouse



Kid Rock calls himself an American Badass and Amy Winehouse knows that she's no good. But who ever thought that Rock would be calling on Winehouse for musical inspiration? Granted, Rock's does a little rap-rock, a little C&W -- he's an open fella.

Now, Rock, who hails from "north of Detroit, way south of Heaven," is getting into the classic Motown sound .. but by way of England. "The only thing I've been listening to lately is Amy Winehouse," Rock said. "She's got me into all that old school soul thing ... I'd really like to add a little of that flavor to my music."

Well, if the Twisted Brown Truckers aren't hip to it, Rock could always tour with the Dap Tones.
