September 05 2008 at 7:47 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyAsk hollywood celebrities or "enlightened" rock stars who they support, and 99% will say "Obama". Ask chronically unemployed social parasites, convicted rapists, and welfare queens who they support, and 99% will also say "Obama". Do the math.

netspeed95 - You've got to be the biggest BSer I have ever heard. I suppose next you're going to tell every-one that Bush and the RNC are responsible for the mess that the whole world is in. There are countries out there that would be happy to have just the inflation rate we have. As for mortgages - if these folks hadn't been so hungry for the almighty dollar and would have read their agreement they would have foreseen it wasn't such a good deal. There never has been and there never will be a free lunch, but with Barak Hussein you will have to tip more than the lunch costs!!!!!!
September 05 2008 at 6:00 PM Report abuse Permalink rate up rate down ReplyJudging by their behavior, a number of Democrats go along with the neocon view.
Thus, the Democrats donât offer a greatly different profile. They went along with the views that corporate profits and the war on terror take precedence over everything else.
They have not used the congressional power that the electorate gave them in the 2006 elections.
However, Democrats, or at least some of them, do care about the Constitution.
If it were not for Democratic appointees to the federal courts and the ACLU (essentially a Democratic organization), the Bush regime would have completely destroyed our civil liberties.
Some Democrats are âbleeding hearts,â who actually care about suffering people they donât know, and who think that we have obligations to others. Have you ever heard of a bleeding heart Republican?
Traditionally, Democrats objected whenever policies resulted in a handful of rich people capturing all of the income gains from the economy. There might still be a few such Democrats left.
Looking at the Republican mess, I doubt that Democrats, try as they may, can equal it.
This all was written by Paul Craig Roberts, who was Assistant Secretary of the Treasury during President Reaganâs first term.
Enjoy
