Over the weekend, Phish, once again, "kinda" reunited. All four original members played a few songs together at the wedding reception of their old friend and road manager, Brad Sands. Performing one-time concert standards 'Julius,' 'Waste' and 'Suzy Greenberg,' the jamband universe's own Fab Four then turned the stage over to Police drummer Stewart Copeland, who joined the house band for a pair of tunes including the Police's 'Can't Stand Losing You.' (Sands became tour manager for the Police following Phish's break-up). A YouTube video of the ad hoc reunion already circulates, thereby ensuring that Sands can skip out on writing at least four of his guests thank you notes -- 100,000 Phish fans will do it for him.
