'Night Society,' The Silver JewsFrom 1998's 'American Water'
What a trip this song is. It's short, perky and seriously rockin'. There are no words -- just the same dual guitars going at each other at warped speed and with aggressive strumming. The track fades in at the beginning and out at the end, which gives it a continuous feel.
My roommate and I threw a party last winter and this song was on our playlist. That 2:17-long nugget ended up being the best time of the party. Sure, songs may be intangible, but 'Night Society' feels like fun.
