The defense: The lyrics were inspired by Ogden Nash's 'The Tale of Custard the Dragon,' about loss of childhood innocence.

The verdict: Guilty. You'd need some Maui Wowee to tap into that childlike imagination.

Did everyone forget the song, can't remember who did it, but The Mighty Quinn? "come on without, come on within, you'll not see nothing like the Mighty Quinn, everybody's gonna want a dose" Actually it was some pretty strong acid back around 1968 called Quinn

Puff the magic dragon is mostly a children's story with a few inside jokes referencing drugs. The Stones have to be out of their minds if they injected drugs into their eyes.

How could you mention any songs about dope without mentioning Pink Floyd. The entire WALL album was about drugs, mostly heroin. "Just a little pin prick, you may fell a little sick, can you stand up I do believe its working good" That ill keep you going for the show come on its time to go" There is no pain you are receding, a distant ship smoke on the horizon, you are only coming through in waves, your lips move but I can't hear what your saying.
