Paul McCartney Blasts Gay Lennon Claims

Paul McCartney and Yoko Ono are furious over a new book called 'John Lennon: The Life,' written by respected Beatles biographer Philip Norman, which claims that Lennon fantasized about sleeping with his mother and wanted a gay relationship with McCartney."I don't think [the gay claims] are true," McCartney told the Sun. "John never ever tried anything, I slept with him a million times. I've seen him on tour roaring drunk, out of his mind in the early days before he sobered up and went to rehab. Roaring drunk and it was always with a female."
"If you've got a little gay tendency and you're roaring drunk I'd have caught him once," McCartney concluded.
Both McCartney and Ono initially approved the book, and even granted interviews. Not surprisingly, Ono, 75, has completely withdrawn her endorsement of the book, which is due out next month.

if lennon had gay notions,,,who gives a crap ...the guy is long gone....talking about this man who was a genius now is just plain in poor taste.

I totally agree with that -- The Beatles had a manager, Brian Epstein, who apparently was gay. That's the extent of it. John and the other 3 knew that. That's the extent of the "gayness." How this author can make John gay is ridiculous. But, even if he was, how would that make him less talented? Elton John, Freddie Mercury (of Queen),are they less talented? Life's too short to worry about who's in the closet and who's not.

IT IS WELL-KNOWN AMONGST BEATLE-O-PHILES THAT LENNON DID HAVE A HOLIDAY AFFAIR WITH BEATLE MANAGER BRIAN EPSTEIN----HE ADMITTED TO THIS 'EXPERIMENT' A NUMBER OF TIMES ON THE RECORD. HOWEVER....LENNON WAS A GIFTED 'ARTISTE' OF THE HIGHEST MAGNITUDE, PRONE TO SUCH DARING ADVENTURES OF THE UNEXPLORED. DOES THIS MAKE HIM GAY? MAYBE TO SOME UNKNOWLEDGEABLE FOLK. LET US JUST SAY HE 'WAS CURIOUS AND HAD A GAY EXPERIENCE'. JOHN LENNON MOST CERTAINLY DID FULLY ADMIT TO ALLOWING GAY MANAGER BRIAN EPSTEIN TO PERFORM ORAL SEX ON HIM. DO SOME RESEARCH. IT IS DOCUMENTED IN SEVERAL INSTANCES. IRONICALLY, THAT IS PROBABLY NOT THE HARDEST OF LENNON'S MANY ESCAPADES TO BE BELIEVED.......AND THAT IS JUST OUT OF ALL THE ONES HE HAS ADMITTED TO.

If John was gay he would have come out and say so John did not hold anything back from his fans or Yoko I think all the other Beatles would had to know because they all sleep in the same room and I think they sheep in the same bed if he was gay he would never would have got marry or sheep with so many women or have any kids.
