On This Date in 1970: Jim Morrison is convicted of indecent exposure, as a result of an incident in which the Doors frontman was said to have exposed himself onstage to a Miami audience.

The Almanac Advises for September 20: "Proper stage attire and stagecraft should act to separate the person onstage from the audience. When the crowd casts its eyes upon a performer, it's his job to attract and maintain their attention."
