In 2007, Prince maintained a 21-night sold-out residency at London's O2 arena. '21 Nights,' a collaborative effort between Prince and photographer Randee St. Nicholas, is a photographic essay that documents this journey with poetry and 124 never-before-seen images. The multimedia set also includes 'Indigo Nights/Live Session,' a live CD that captures Prince's after-hours sessions, along with new music. Take a look at an introductory excerpt from '21 Nights' -- penned by St. Nicholas -- as well as exclusive photos, a first look at the 'Indigo Night' tracklist and a video for the upbeat 'Planet Earth' song 'The One U Wanna C.'Those who have spent the most time with him are both frustrated and inspired. To know him is to know that you probably will never really know him and to question that is a waste of time ... wasting time is something one should never do ... and something Prince holds in high disregard.

He is passionate and funny and smarter than any of you will probably ever believe ... he stretches everyone around him and I'm not sure he even understands why ... and those who get it without trying to understand soar and grow creatively in a way they probably could not find on their own ... it is not a manipulation for control's sake as it is often judged ... it is a way of being ... a way of constantly stirring things up ... a conduit to achieve creative exhaustion ... so that you just do whatever it is you do, free of the limits of how you think you should do it ... you are simply forced to trust yourself and to trust him ... and in the end it is a gift, one that you have worked very hard for and there is great satisfaction in that. Now that you know this you will see him as I have seen him over these few weeks during the summer of 2007 in a city we hold synonymous with royalty ... fitting for a Prince ... a man ... a musician ... an artist who is truly like no other. -- Randee St. Nicholas, from the '21 Nights' introduction

Keep up the good work his music is an influence on many.
This Toddpugz guy sounds very un-informed, All I see from him on this site are negative comments, why don't you go somewhere else, chief. If you had a brain or any musical taste, you would have something intelligent to say, end of story. And as for money chief, I've paid more in taxes over the last 20 years than you will make in your life.
Keep up the great words all of the true Prince fans!

Does anyone still care about his private life? (except *&($)_+!@, that is).

Without hesitation I submit, Prince is the baddest, most multitalented artist to ever exist on this planet. There are other great ones who have lived and died throughout history, great ones who are still here sharing their unique, soul-quenching gifts with us. But none, at least in my life time, has been greater than Prince!
On behalf of the rest of us, I say. . ., Thank you so very much, Prince.

Prince: Its too bad u turned your back on the truth.Do u envision what the world really has to offer and where its heading? You threw away pearls of wisdom for a moment of ? fame...Its never too late.

Give it a break!!!! Jehovahs Witnesses are not "the truth". I have heard that crap my whole life. I think he finally figured it out...as I did 35 years ago.
I think he is a great artist.
chana86at 9-23-2008
I agree with you 100%. This Satan corrupted world ha nothing to offer him but oh well when Jehovah's day comes he cant be suprised.
coexgalat 9-23-2008
Nilda, it was my understanding Prince is still a Jehovah's Witness. Perhaps I am mistaken? Please tell me if he is no longer a Witness and when that happened.
I do not necessarily feel that a person has to give up a musical career for the truth, unless that career interferes with your worship of Jehovah. I myself chose to give up a PROFESSIONAL career in the musical theatre, only because it would indeed have interfered with meetings and the ministry. However, when someone has a musical talent, that person needs to fulfill that talent somehow, as it is an emotional need. I did do an occasional musical as a hobby, and it satisfied my emotional need while still being able to serve Jehovah.
Larry Graham and George Bensen are classic examples of individuals who are still serving Jehovah and who keep their musical career in it's place. It doesn't mean they are seeking fame and fortune, or seeking what 'the world has to offer'. They are simply balancing their music with their greater career, that of serving their God.

For everyone's 411, YES, he is STILL in "THE TRUTH"!
