"We always joke around, like he's Bob Dylan and I'm Joan Baez." --Nicole Scherzinger

The Pussycat Dolls front-feline told Spinner about her unlikely musical relationship with Keane's Tim Rice Oxley.

Please do not compare yourself to Joan Baez EVER again.

i would be amazed if she could even read sheet music, let alone write any sort of meaningful lyrics, play any instrument, or make even a feeble, pathetic attempt to compose a song. shes more porn star than singer. what an ignorant and insanely self aggrandizing statement. seriously who is this moron? the pussycat dolls? what a joke.

Joan Baez is a legend, as is Bob Dylan. The fact that this ditz has the audacity to compare herself to someone who actually possesses talent is just... I'm speechless. God I hope Joan and Bob don't hear about this! What an insult!

Now let's not be nasty. It's not like she's running for President and really needs to have some sense....

OH NO SHE DIDN'T -- Those 2 aren't fit to lick the boots of the great Dylan and Baez! These marginally talented, tasteless performers of today are delusional!

AMEN ~ Now those were stars. Stars that will be relevant 20 - 30 - 40 - 50 years from now. Frankly, I would highly doubt that in the years to come you will hear Pussycat Dolls music in elevators and supermarkets or in commercials like you do the Beatles, Dylan, and many other 60's and 70's performers. Why do you think there are so many homage bands and covers of that music? There is no originality and nothing to be said from these performers today.....Again, AMEN!

P.S. I LOVE JOHN LENNON TOO!

As if there was a remote possibility that you could even stand next to Joan Baez. She's worn no makeup and remains beautiful. She's never work skimpy clothes to sell an album. No offense to your pop career, but Joan Baez has decades of meaningful lyrics and talented music. She has a voice that sounds even sweeter without backup. You'd be hard-pressed to find many voices now that are clean underneath the synthesizers and cover-up instruments. Joan is a true, incomparably talented artist.
