Steven Tyler Sues Unknown Bloggers

Aerosmith frontman Steven Tyler is suing unknown bloggers that he says impersonated him on the Web via Google's Blogspot.com. In the suit filed Wednesday in Los Angeles, the writers -- whose real names aren't known -- are accused of writing about the death of his mother and revealing "intimate details" from his life.

Tyler, 60, believes the same group was responsible for similar postings in 2007, which were removed by Google at Tyler 's request, according to reports.

The suit blames the bloggers for public disclosure of private facts and making false statements, and cites the writers for misappropriation of likeness. It also seeks an injunction to have the defendants stop impersonating him online or elsewhere.
