Melissa Etheridge Getting Hitched + More

Melissa Etheridge and her longtime partner, Tammy Lynn Michaels, plan to wed in California. The two previously entered into a civil parternship in 2003. Michaels gave birth to the couple's twins in 2006.

Jay-Z will play two free concerts this weekend -- Saturday in Detroit, and Sunday in Miami -- in support of Barack Obama.

In other Obama news, Bruce Springsteen will play a free concert in Philadelphia on Saturday in support of the Democratic presidential nominee.

Cat Power will release a 10" covers EP, titled 'Dark End of the Street,' on December 9.
