The Organ Get Revived by 'Thieves'

It's not unusual for bands and musicians to posthumously release albums (Tupac, anyone?). What is unusual, though, is for a band offer a "posthumous" release when all original band members are still, in fact, living. But that's what the Organ is doing. The Canadian indie pop band broke up in November 2006, with some citing frontwoman Katie Sketch's burgeoning modeling career or the members' scattered locations as reasons for the split, but there's no official word from the band, or, non-band as it were. Whatever the reason, the waters must be relatively calm as the band will release a new EP, titled 'Thieves,' on October 14.
The 'Thieves' tracks are said to have been intended for the follow-up to the Organ's debut, 2004's 'Grab That Gun.' A video for the EP's single, 'Fire in the Ocean,' is also forthcoming. If Tupac can do it, these living ladies have no excuse.
