The choice of Sarah Palin as the Republicans' vice presidential candidate has evoked political aspirations in Rosanne Cash ... at least sarcastically. In an open letter to the Nation, Cash writes that she would like to replace Palin on the GOP ticket."I feel confident that John McCain will see that the very attributes he desired in his VP choice can be met, and even exceeded in some areas, by me," she writes.
The eldest daughter of Johnny Cash and a Grammy-winning singer-songwriter herself, Cash goes on to outline her resume, highlighting similarities and differences between herself and Palin on key political issues. For instance, on reproductive issues, Cash writes, "I also believe that a teenager's pregnancy is a 'private family matter.' In fact, I believe that every woman's pregnancy is a 'private, family matter.' (I bet the GOP never thought of making that leap!)"
Cash also humorously tackles issues of church and state, the environment, the war in Iraq, executive ability and foreign policy.
"I know Governor Palin has one distinct advantage in living so close to Russia, in that she can keep a close eye on nefarious activity across the Bering Strait," Cash writes. "But I, too, live very close to a foreign country. Canada is less than 400 miles from my home in New York City, and you never know when it might become necessary to invade a sovereign nation that has not attacked us, as we learned the hard way. Not only that, I have a girlfriend in Austin, Texas, whom I'm going to ask to keep an eye on Mexico."
Cash sums up that if Palin becomes Vice President of the United States, she and her husband will "personally secede from the whole country." So, supporters are encouraged to either write in her name on the ballot, or write to her in New Zealand, where she says she'll make her new home.

HI;Iam 73years of Age Black and do believe in equal opportunities.but some of these ladies are in for the politics.attention that they can get.
If I ran for vice president I would have the qualifications that would reflect my race and knowledge of the duties that is required of me to be able to carry on when the president Barrack is not able to do so.so if you think that this would be important to the primary then be ready for our president.Obama Obama Barrack equality and justice for all.

If you were the vice-prez you would still have to wait in line, there would be at least 4 ahead of you. So just sit back and enjoy the ride!!!

If I was President I would be fair, honest, do what was best for the country and put God back where He belongs. Haven't you noticest how bad every thing has gone since God has been taken away? I know I have so I have started to prayer more and urge others to do so. we can't let the devil win as our children mean so much to us. If you agree pass this on. God bless you and God Bless America!
