No, the cute Beatle did not kill Tony Soprano's horse. A box containing Paul McCartney's head has been lost on a train outside London, and the owner is offering a 2000-pound reward for its return. The head, made of wax, is reportedly from a 1960s display at Louis Tussaud's museum in Great Yarmouth. A British dealer in vintage slot machines, coin-operated rides "and anything else related to the fairground industry" mistakenly left the package on the train, and is now calling for its return.
"So far," said the dealer, Joby Carters, "we've had a lot of hoax calls from people claiming to have seen the head but nothing concrete." Well, sure. A concrete Beatle head would be a lot harder to misplace.
