admittedly, I am old. I have listened to very few songs the past 45 years or so. I follow(ed) no bands my entire life. I do indeed appreciate nice music, but haven't been aware of "real music" since Elvis. I have seen THE ROLLING STONES on tv and they were pretty good. I saw the BEATLES. They were o.k. I don't buy music, rent music, or movies. It is all a waste of money and my time.

How is this even possibly offensive? Clearly you people have never heard any early delta blues songs, or the Led Zapplin songs that rip off the delta blues lyrics, with lyrics like "Squeeze my lemon till the juice runs down my leg." Now, THAT's suggestive.
And don't even get me STARTED on Frank Zappa...you people don't know what you missed by not being born earlier.

I think the lyrics stink, but so what??? If you don't like it, don't listen - just don't tell me (or the band) what they CAN and CANNOT do. Apply your morals & tastes to yourself; God gave me free will and YOU can't take that away. I won't listen to this stuff (old fart, former rock musician, now 45), but if you like it, have at it! I actually love this band and especially love this song

The Kings of Leon are AMAZING . I've been following this band for years. Granted, people will always have their opinions, but this song, in particular, is catching on like wildfire, SEXY SEXY WILDFIRE (he he). My point is, if you don't like it, don't listen to it. And to JJesusDavidson, get real!!! There are plenty of albums out there for children. In fact, there's a CRAP TON more out there for children then any other generation ever got. I think, by today's standards, children are given too many options. They have whole channels devoted just to them. Besides, you can't even understand what Caleb's singing half the time anyway, yet another reason I LOVE THEM. I LOVE YOU KOL, YOU GUYS FREAKIN' ROCK!!!!!!!!!!!!

Obviously, immingla.. or maybe not. You're probably 15-17, maybe not. One thing is for sure.. no one puts comments on here if the lyric doesn't mean anything to them. It may not mean to them what you want it too but that's too bad.
And ROFL if you think that people like me, age 25, are old because they don't want VDs or younger generations being exposed to the idiocy of the iconic music world in which it is COMPLETELY ACKNOWLEDGED that trips to clinics to get tested for VDs is as commonplace as going to a gig.
Tupac said it best(and I am not a fan of rap): F*** all you dumb white who***, I don't F*** with them wh****, getting diseases and all that sh**.
This is an obvious paraphrase but is nearly verbatim.
Reesa.. I imagine you were born in the early nineties, so your brain is already not your own. This is evident by you thinking this band, which is REALLY NEW, is only listened to by people who are young/youthful.
Finally, If you seriously think songs like these are acceptable for the american child then you SHOULD be mentally evaluated on case of depravity and disconnection from reality. It is SCIENTIFIC PSYCHOLOGICAL FACT that children are more impressionable and are highly absorbant.
Do you think that there is no reason for N-Sync to announce to all their lovely, beautiful, "sexy" ladies out there(meaning in the crowd) their personal views on lust by erotic humping motions? Guess what the average age of people attending N-Sync concerts are?
12... 12 and they're sexy ladies needing to be sexually awakened to filth?
Of course, if you are truly closed minded I expect you to fight these facts. I expect you to continue doing as you will do and listen to whatever you want under the false pretext that music is just that. I expect you to ignore scientific fact that the human brain is prewired for music.
I imagine many of you would have voted for Bush.. both terms.
