On This Date in 1975: The Sex Pistols play their debut show at St. Martins College, the art school attended by original bassist Glen Matlock.

The Almanac Advises for November 6: "If you feel like an outcast at your college, start your own social group of your peers rather than trying to fit in where you are unwanted."
