I am so sick of the Jonas brothers. It's burnin' up this and abstinence that. They were fine before the publicists got to them, now I'm just tired of hearing about them.
Who the heck is Adele, anyhow? She does look like a man,so...

I think it's a good choice. I personally wear a purity ring and am going to stay abstinent till marriage, and I am happy that there are people out there who agree with me and aren't sex maniacs like the rest of hollywood

um...batman doesn't have any mystical powers...duh, anyway the rings are just a symbolic reminder of their commitment, Just like a wedding ring is symbolic of the promis you made when you got married, nobody ever claimed their wedding ring gave them special powers.
PLUS there are MANY other reasons to justify wanting to wait to have sex till marriage besides faith.

Purity Rings? If they want to remain virgins, which I doubt any are, why the heck do they have to wear rings to show they are virgins? Does it give them some sort of mystical power like Batman? They are marketing it way too much for it to be believable. I would believe it if they wore a cross and when asked about sex, "Naw, my faith tells me to wait until I'm married"
But I wonder how they are going to wait until they get married since Prop. 8 was passed.

I think it is great for the Jonas Brothers to save themselves for marriage. I am teaching my daughter that abstinence is the best for marriage in the future. God mandates in the Bible that marriage is between one man and one woman, and that sex is only for marriage. If each person practiced it, a lot of problems and issues would be "non-issues" or at least minimal. Among them are AIDS, STD's, Welfare, divorce, and many others.

You haven't personally met these guys so you shouldn't judge them on your biased opinions.
Just because you can't control your hormones, doesn't mean EVERYONE IS LIKE THAT! Some people still actually have morals and try to do the right thing. And anyways, you should be happy the Jonas Brothers are setting this example...the media is so corrupt these days, it's good to have some role models like them.
