Cyndi Lauper and the Hives teamed up for a single titled 'A Christmas Duel,' which will be available as a free download from November 28-30 on the Hives' website.

Kings of Leon, who sold out three UK arena shows in mere seconds over the weekend, filmed an episode of the kids' rock show 'Pancake Mountain.'

Decemberists' frontman Colin Meloy told the story behind the unreleased B-side, titled 'Record Year,' on Spin.com, where the track is also being streamed.

Jay-Z, Mark Ronson and Nikolai Fraiture of the Strokes all showed up in support of a New York Kaiser Chiefs gig on Saturday night.
