He's actually the lead singer and guitarist for a British rock (esque, they've gone slightly more electronica recently) band that's seen quite a bit of success in England and some in the States. But it shouldn't come as a surprise that the lead singer of the sex pistols should do something rude or obligatory. Isn't that the name of the game with that band? It could've been either of their faults, but for some reason I'd be willing to say that it wasn't 50/50.
