Radiohead Plotting 2009 Tour + More

Radiohead are slowly rolling out 2009 tour dates, including stops in Mexico and South America.The Strokes will put their solo projects to the side in February to begin writing for a new record together. Bassist Nikolai Fraiture says the dynamic will be different, thus bringing "a shift from our regular sound."
Patti Smith and Vampire Weekend will speak at the New York Times Arts and Leisure weekend, which takes place from January 8-11.
My Brightest Diamond, Frightened Rabbit, Matt Pond PA and Kaki King are among the artists offering up covers on 'Guilt by Association Vol. 2,' due on Feb. 17. However, the album, which finds musicians taking on their guilty pleasures, can be streamed in its entirety here.
Beck is collaborating with French actress Charlotte Gainsbourg on her forthcoming album.
