I absolutely LOVE Adele - that woman has the most soulfull voice that I've heard in a long time, particularly seeing and 95% of todays music is crap! And if her songs for her second album are anything like the first I'm sure it will be fabulous!

It's obvious that she has weight and depression issues.
This is getting compounded by pressure from the recording industry to write new songs, and causing her to binge, hate her passion (music), and self.
This is rather predictable. The real trick is if she can identify it, be willing to work out of it, and have someone she can trust to help her.
Either this short term fix or Time will pass and absorb up her life like it has done to others.

Oh my GOSH. When are you shallow people going to realize that our bodies are just the house that our spirits and souls live in? While it is important to have a "healthy" body, that could be a different weight for each person. It has NOTHING to do with the way a person looks!! I am a healthy size 12 and I have always been attractive. However, I don't go around cutting other people down who aren't attractive because I know that my outward appearance is just a shell that is housing my soul. Our bodies grow old and wrinkly. Our teeth decay as we age. Our bones become weaker. It's our hearts that need to stay strong so that we are capable of caring about other people. One day, those of you who make fun of overweight or unattractive people, are going to wake up and I hope for all of you men who had to have the size 2 wife, she gains 200 lbs during childbirth and can't lose an ounce of it so you are stuck with her. I hate to wish that on the innocent wife, but it's the only way these empty-hearted males are ever going to learn what is important in life. Family, friends and compassion for our fellow human beings. As for Adele, I hope she realizes that truly talented, intelligent people don't judge us for our outer beauty. It's the no-talent losers who do that while they sit at home, jobless because they're too dumb to set an alarm clock to get out of bed each morning.

Whatever. This girl can out sing any size zero coke-addict pop star that dares to gyrate and lip-synch to over-"fixed" crap sounds before thousands of fans who go to "look at her".
If you honestly look at this woman and think "she can't be a singer, she's too fat to look at!" then you have serious issues and I sob and weep for the future of the music industry.
I don't suppose anyone even recalls a woman called "Aretha" who was not exactly a small woman but could sing practically any woman under the table?

Yep--actually she's a very pretty "BBW" & at least she's honest about how she feels about her tunes.What's happening with her I think & I'm a songwriter so I can relate is she's trying to force the tunes for the 2nd album(probably due to contract obligations)& if you do that the songs will be weak.Songwriting takes inspriration & if there's no inspiration you're going to write 2nd rate songs.She should back off it for awhile & wait til it starts to flow again naturally.If she tries to force it her 2nd album is gonna bomb.

Look at Bill Parcells..Andy Reid..John madden..3 whales whon we never refer to weight about. and even tho woman are overweight they can still have sex..unlike men when fat can barely get it up and even then you have to find it before faking it! ha!
