THIS IS A CHARVEL JACKSON GUITAR THAT TRENT USED TO PLAY BACK IN THE EARLY DAYS OF NIN. THIS IS CERTIFIED BY MARKY RAY THE PRODUCTION MANAGER FOR NIN BACK IN THOSE DAYS. THIS WAS A PRE LOLLAPALOOZA CONCERT ESTIMATED BETWEEN 12/1990-02/1991 WHICH WAS THE SECOND HEADLING TOUR OF NINE INCH NAILS. MARKY RAY HAS COVERED THE GUITAR BODY IN HIS TRADEMARK CRAZY GUY ARTWORK TO MATCH THE CERTIFICIATE. THIS IS A VERY RARE THING AS SOME OF THE GUITARS TRENT SMASHED WERE FIXED SO HE COULD PLAY THEM AGAIN. AS YOU CAN SEE THIS ONE WAS BEYON REPAIR. Our take: Before Nine Inch Nails frontman Trent Reznor cleaned up, cut his hair, released four albums a year and pioneered online music distribution, he spent quite a bit of stage-time in a destructive rampage. He didn't stop at guitars, but smashed keyboards and hurled mic stands into drum sets. But lest you think he's mellowed out, these days while you might not leave with a guitar splinters in your eye, the light show could definitely trigger a seizure.
