'Sleepyhead,' Passion Pit

With vocals that are vaguely reminiscent of fellow one-man band Aqueduct, and music that will unfairly be compared to Postal Service, 'Sleepyhead' somehow evolved out of a guy's Valentine's Day gift to his girlfriend. That gift -- an EP entitled 'Chunk of Change' by a desktop musician from Boston named Michael Angelakos -- gave him a career and us a great song.

What a great song! A combination of wondrous yelled falsetto vocals, magical sparkly sounds, a sample, and general indie-pop heaven, along with a good old-fashioned catchy tune.

I love how the only people that respond to these song selections always have something negative to say. Expand your listening horizons- different shouldn't and doesn't always equal "whack".

I second that! It's bit high-pitched and very busy. I get the song, where it's going and why it's called sleepy head, but I like it.

mxu15 is right if you don't like it whatever, just move on and try to find something else there is no need to spread s|h*t. No one needs your negative opinions because im sure everyone else is fully capable of making there own opinion.
