'Always Wanting More,' Jay Reatard

This Memphis punk issued a constant flow of 7-inch singles this year. Judging by his success, perhaps there was something to that dated strategy. In that light, this track is a convenient analogy for Reatard's business model. But that's in title alone. More practically, the song is simply fun to thrash around the room to, Iggy Pop style. And with it clocking in at just over two minutes, Reatard is right: You'll want more.
