Patti Smith, Bob Mould, Calexico, Glen Hansard and more will be performing R.E.M. songs at Carnegie Hall's 'The Music of R.E.M' program on March 11. All ticket proceeds will go to music programs for underpriviliged youth.Eminem revealed that he'll release his new album, 'Relapse' -- which he is working on with Dr. Dre -- in the spring.
The Rolling Stones' hometown of Dartford, Kent is renaming a series of streets in the band's honor. Satisfaction Street, Angie Mews and Ruby Tuesday Drive are among the 13 new names.
Wanda Jackson, Howard Tate and Cyril Jordan and Roy Loney of the Flamin' Groovies are scheduled to perform at the eighth annual Ponderosa Stomp in New Orleans, on April 28-29.
Jarvis Cocker will be a guest editor of BBC Radio 4's 'Today' show during the last week of the year.
