Great article Spinner.com!
Elvis was (personally) served with his Draft Notice at his residency at Graceland (with his Mother and Father present).
Needless to say, it RUINED their Christmas and contributed to the premature death of Elvis' Mother Gladys Love Presley.
Unlike every other "celebrity", of his generation, Elvis REFUSED to go into the Military and "entertain" the troops. Elvis went in like every other man, served his Country - did an outstanding job, and came out a better man for it.
Elvis does not get enough credit for these facts...or for many other facts/accomplishments that Elvis was involved with over his (long) career.
Anyway, MERRY CHRISTMAS to Jeff Schrembs.
MERRY CHRISTMAS to ElvisCollectorWorldwide.
MERRY CHRISTMAS to www.ElvisCollector.info.
Lastly, MERRY CHRISTMAS to everyone @ Spinner.com and to all the members of Spinner.com!
