Slipknot Frontman Hates Him Some Coldplay

If you thought Slipknot's Corey Taylor might be a closet Coldplay fan, you can lay that ridiculous notion to rest. The masked metal man described the British band's 'Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends' as "one of the most self-celebratory pieces of s--- I've ever f---ing heard in my entire f---ing life."
A guest on MTV UK, Taylor was asked to give his opinion on the album when he let loose with criticism that deserves a Parental Advisory sticker. He made sure to address singer Chris Martin personally, saying, "Go suck a f---ing d---. Are you watching, Martin? Suck it. Go eat a bag of s---." To drive his point home, he continued, "I f---ing hate that album. It's music to wipe your ass to."
Martin has yet to respond to the slagging of his megahit album. Somewhere, Joe Satriani is smiling.

i'm not a coldplay fan, but i would rather listen to coldplay on a loop for the rest of my life than hear one song by slipknot. are they serious about calling that shit music? metal my ass. they are so fucking adorably mainstream it's not funny- sounds like all the other garbage in the same "genre." f**k you slipknot- you're easily the worst "band" in history. congratulations!

what a sh itty, third rate, loser band won't do for a little publicity. Even if you don't like someone's music, isn't keeping your trap shut a better way to treat your fellow man. Your band is a total disgrace to the metal genre.

While I disagree with the previous comment. I am forced to say WTF, Corey? After starting Stone Sour and ruining Slipknot he has the nerve to call out anyone on their music. Even if "Viva la Vida" is stolen from various sources after the musical abortion that was Slipknots latest album and the recent radio friendly Stone Sour hits Corey needs to shut the fuck up!

You know what? I don't like listening to Slipknot either, but I respect the hell out of them. They've been together, with the same lineup of nine guys for nine years. How many other bands have done that? That aside, even if you don't like their music at least they write their own instead of ripping off other peoples music...
