Out of the mouths of babes! Thankfully, I have yet to hear Oasis on my local classic rock station. What they do play, however, I'm old enough to know the lyrics to, so I guess I'm a classic at the ripe old age of 43.

Holy Jesus...if Oasis is now considered to be Classic Rock, what do we call Aerosmith, Led Zeppelin, Van Halen and the Rolling Stones? Does this mean Pearl Jam, The Red Hot Chili Peppers, STP and Nirvana is the new classic rock?

That's cute, but someday (even if their music sucks) they will all be called classic rock. Every 30 years they update what's classic. We have to it can't all be called current rock.
