On This Date in 1965: A panel on the British TV show 'Juke Box Jury' rates 'You've Lost That Lovin' Feeling,' by the Righteous Brothers, as a "miss." One month later, it hits No. 1 on the U.K. and the U.S. charts.

The Almanac Advises for January 9: "The overall fairness of the trial by jury system is brought into question when the individual prejudices of the selected members act to hinder the rendering of a fair verdict."
