On This Date in 1962: 'The Twist,' by Chubby Checker, reaches the No. 1 position on the Billboard Hot 100 Singles chart for the second time. It initially hit the top spot in Sept. 1960.

The Almanac Advises for January 13: "Saint Vitus' dance is a disease in which the limbs move involuntarily, often in a twisting or writhing motion. Also known as Sydenham's chorea, this disorder is caused by a bacterial infection."
