Ryan Adams has put quite a few good albums. I think he is a better song writer than singer/performer.

hope he takes whatever time he needs to find himself again. i can't even explain in words enough what his music means to me. he is such a great artist. hopefully he will be back cuz there really isn't that many artists nowadays that have his kind of talent.

haha to all you people who said you've never heard of him, start listening to music other than what the radio plays -- you might find some actual music out there. This "nobody" puts out hundreds, yes hundreds, of songs a year, including the very famous and oft covered "When the Stars Go Blue". He's one of my favorite artists and probably the most knowledgable musician making music today. I'm disappointed to hear this news, though I understand his reasoning, and can only console myself my listening to any one of his wonderful Cd's over and over.
