Coldplay have returned to the studio with Brian Eno, the producer behind the band's 2008 blockbuster 'Viva La Vida or Death and All His Friends.'The group made the announcement Friday via Twitter, just a few days after David Bowie revealed on the ever-living status update that he was working on new material. Coldplay's succinct post read: "The band are back in the studio for a couple of weeks with Brian Eno ... Prospekt."
Meanwhile, Eno just wrapped work on U2's forthcoming album 'No Line on the Horizon.' Chris Martin and Co. are evidently anxious to get to work -- reports last August suggested Coldplay's next record was already half-written.
Following studio time with Eno, Coldplay will resume their world tour next month in support of 'Viva La Vida' and the subsequent 'Prospekts March' EP.
