ToTim - you are correct about the USSR, but the first line of that song is also obsolete. "Flew in from Miami Beach BOAC'. This is also outdated as there is no more BOAC, they and British European Air merged into British Airways. Another outdated lyric is from Bobby Russel's 1432 Franklin Pike Circle Hero'. "At Christmas took them down to see then floats, when he'd rather stay home and watch the Baltimore Colts". How about Babalu's Wedding Day by the eternals "he met his woman at a baseball game, played 2nd base for the Milwaukee Braves'. Another is Chuck Berry's "Promised Land' "Workin on a T Bone steak ala carte flying over to the Golden State". Planes don't serve much anymore, let alone T Bone steak. Also in the same song: "Los Angeles, give me Norfolk, Virginia, Tidewater 4-1009". There have not been words used for phone exchanges since the early '60.s. Also, today he would probably have a cell phone with nationwide service and not have to make an operator assisted call. Also Beechwood 4-5709 by the Marvelettes, Pennsylvania 6-5000 by Glenn Miller, and Lonesome 7-7203 by Hawkshaw Hawkins. .

"When the lights go on at Wrigley Field, I'll be coming home again.
Also...The Priates of The Missippi had a cerebral hit called "A Street Man Named Desire." The chorus starts...
"Saddam Husein still has a job but I don't. Tonight he'll sleep in a big warm bed, but I won't."
