MTv still plays video, late at night, some nights! VH1 classic rocks, videos almost all the time, and MTV2 plays videos (not as much as they did). MTV has a new high def channel that plays concerts and videos and the like.

ahh yes the good old days when MTV was about music and not BS, now you have to watch VH1 classic to even see anything about music worth watching, but the Dire straits song is and always will be a classic!
