Sorry, folks, but NONE of the shows you people have mentioned even come close to the attitude that Prince was referencing. I suggest everyone go back and watch a single episode featuring Alexis Carrington Colby (played by Joan Collins) and see what "attitude" really means. Even the relatively sweet, demure Krystal Carrington (played by Linda Evans) had to learn how to bitch up enough to stand up against Alexis.
Cartman against Alexis? No contest. The Queen Bitch would show Cartman what "authori-ta" really means. (Stan, Kyle and Kenny would just stand off to the side watching as Carman got his ass kicked and handed back to him on a silver platter.) And "The Office"? Oh please. Alexis would buy the company and fire every single one of those lame-asses.

Lyrics will always become obselete. It could be names and locations of Sports teams, change in technology, inflation, also changes in business and political entities. How about this song from the Beatles "White Album": "Flew in from Miami Beach, BOAC, didn't get to bed last night".... I'm back in the USSR". There is no more BOAC (British Overseas Air Company) as it merged with BEA British European Airways and became British Airways. And since 1989 or so, there has been no more USSR.

This article is ludicrous. "Expired Lyrics"? That just means that the person who wrote this doesn't have many clues, or a very limited frame of reference. Music is a cultural history. The person who wrote this sounds like they must be uhmmm, like, maybe 20 yrs. old, and know nothing about history. They probably have no idea what century WWI and WWII took place, let alone approximate dates. Oh, yeah, and most of these guys made "records"...oooh that's like a dirty word. Keith Olberman??? Who the hell watches that A-hole? He's got more than 'tude...he's a mean uninformed moron!! Thank you, enlightened American revisionist education system. Dumbing of American youth is working!!! Also, keep up that Political Correctness thing......

Who constructed this article? Thay must have too much time on their hands. Music like life evolves. Also, to get to the point, with the horrific, intentional and legal discrimination and disenfranchisnent of black people in this country, who of anyone born before 1990 would've thought there would be a Black Man elected to president in this historically racist country. Hence, that's another story of evolution.

Forgive me for correcting you, but the song "Kodachrome" was made back in 1973, when the film was still quite popular, and the film
Kodachrome has been made since 1935, and was produced until early this yaer
