Raphael Saadiq, '100 Yard Dash' -- Video Premiere

When Raphael Saadiq began brainstorming ideas of what the video for his song '100 Yard Dash' should look like, he was reminded of the concept behind the song's album title: 'The Way I See It.' He wanted a visual that would evoke the same era and the same mood that he was going for with the track itself (which sonically, he says, has "an old feel but a new feel, too.") "I just wanted to create something that wouldn't take away from the song," Saadiq tells Spinner. "It's like working on an album -- when you add strings and drums to the idea, you always want it to enhance what you're doing. So this video is just another extension of 'The Way I See It.'"
