Eddie Van Halen Considering New Tunes With David Lee Roth

Eddie Van Halen has a few milestones coming up this year. First, Rock and Roll Hall of Famer will wed his fiancee, Janie Liszweski, in June. Then, he'll attend the high school graduation of his son -- and bass player -- Wolfgang. But after that, Eddie hopes to release new music with the current incarnation of the legendary band that bears his name. And, as he tells Spinner, yes, that includes David Lee Roth.

"Dave, Wolfie, Alex and I are a band," he tells Spinner in an upcoming Spinner Interview. "I hope that after Janie and I get married, and Wolfie graduates, that we sit down and discuss recording new music, which I have tons of. If Dave's up for singing ... then do another tour, and just see where it takes us. Actually, next week or the week after Wolfie, Alex, and I are gonna start jamming. Maybe we'll give Dave a call and see what he's up to. He's off, always doing his own thing, and he checks in every now and then to see how we're doing."

Meanwhile, Eddie Van Halen just released his signature Fender guitar series, titled, appropriately, Wolfgang -- a line he personally oversaw for more than two years.

I won't go see them again. The sound sucked. Eddie was too loud, sound sytem garbbled, bass sounded like shit, and they drowned out Dave's vocals. It was not a band feel at all. It was just eddie's show and that aint enough. Nothing like the Van Hlen from 79-84.

Are you people nuts!!!!! Eddie is a rock treasure. I've seen every tour since 1980 and hope to see every tour till VH stops till they stop. Oh.... and tothat jerk who made the comment about Wolfie, what is wrong with you? He is a teenager. I think he did a great job on the last tour. I dought the band will read this, but if you guys do.... Keep on rockin' there are those of us who truely love ya.

Uggh.....its not Van Halen without Sammy Hagar! David Lee Roth never had Sammys voice, and im sure an extra 20 years of booze and cigarettes hasn't improved it any.
Eddie, call Sammy, tell him you're sorry you were a jerk, and BEG! Beg for him like teenage girl in a room full of Zach Efrons!

It would be cool to see VanHalen after all these years! I saw them wayyyyyyyyyyyyy back in Chicago. Dave was rockin'!! I swear, that guy was all over that stage!! It was a great show!! One of the best I've ever seen!

As for you idiots dissin' on Wolfgang, give the kid a break! Geez! For one thing, I'm sure none of you are prizes, and another, people are who they are! It shouldn't matter how we look! Too many people base everything on looks and it should be so much more than that!! Shame on you!!!!
