Sure, they've sung about fly white dudes and unemployment, but the Offspring can also tackle heavy subject matter. In the video for 'Kristy, Are You Doing Okay' -- their new single from 'Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace' -- a teenage boy suspects that a female classmate is being sexually abused, but his uncertainty leaves him feeling helpless. "We decided to have just me alone, not a full band performance, in the video so people would focus on the story," frontman Dexter Holland tells Spinner. "This is a true story for a lot of people so I thought it was something worth talking about. There aren't many songs dealing with something like this." Check out the powerful video from the SoCal rockers below.

the offspring are amazing, their newer stuff might be different from the punk they used to do but it's still damn good, they define their own genre.

...damn, this band never ceases to amaze me. I love all of their work, from the self-titled album to Rise and Fall, Rage and Grace. They are the only punk band that can change their sound, but still make good music and songs that actually talk about stuff that matters. Thank you guys!

Their music just keeps getting better and better. Really killer song with a tough, touching meaning. Well done. Sadly, this video makes me want to cry, but I'm glad The Offspring have the fortitude to create songs like this. One of my favorites on the CD.

what Dexter & company are a cut above the average band.
that's why they still tour and make "records".
I don't love the new stuff as much as some of their past gems, but continue to follow them and enjoy their sound.

Awesome job. Very touching and sad. I love The Offspring since the first day I heard them - many many years ago. I hope they continue to put out great stuff and keep touring for a long time.

Great video, powerful lyrics. It amazes me that The Offspring can have such great hits sounding so different from this to pretty fly, to the kids aren't alright. Love this band, my #1 favorite, and i'll continue to follow them for years to come. Just wish they would tour on the east coast some more :[

Amazing song, band and video.
Anyone know the actor playing the teenage boy?
