Sing it with us: "Reunited and it feels so good." Yeah, maybe not. Still, one of music's most unlikely couples (next to Bing Crosby and David Bowie, of course) Elton John and Eminem are reportedly joining forces for a duet on the rapper's long-awaited new album, titled 'Relapse' -- Slim Shady's first new effort in five years. Rumors of the odd couple have been swirling since the fall, when Sir Elton was spotted in Detroit around the same time Shady was in the studio. If the pair have indeed recorded together, it would mark their first collaboration since sharing the stage at the 2001 Grammys, performing Em's hit 'Stan' amidst allegations that the rapper was homophobic. John was later both criticized and praised by members of the gay community for supporting Eminem.
We think it makes sense. After all, John is the original King of Bling.
Outrageous Grammy Moments

Dylan Gets Bombed:Dylan's performance of 'Love Sick' at the 1998 Grammys took a turn for the bizarre when a man with "Soy Bomb" scrawled on his chest leapt onto the stage and gyrated for more than 30 seconds. Bum Rush 1: Ol' Dirty Bastard:In 1998, the late O.D.B. interruped an acceptance speech by singer Shawn Colvin to protest the Wu Tang Clan's loss of the Best Rap Album award earlier in the night. The defense for his actions? "Wu Tang is for the children!Photo: TIMOTHY A. CLARY/AFP/Getty Images
Sorry Seems to Be the Hardest Word:Janet Jackson and Justin Timberlake were to appear at the 2004 Grammys one month after Super Bowl XXXVIII's "nipplegate" fiasco. Timberlake apologized for the incident when accepting his second award. Jackson, however, stayed home.Photo: David Phillip, AP
She Doesn't Want What She Hasn't Got:Sinead O'Connor boycotted the '91 Grammys due to the "extreme commercialism" of the event. After her appropriately titled 'I Do Not Want What I Haven't Got' CD won for Best Alternative Album, she became the first artist to refuse a Grammy.Photo by Frank Micelotta/ImageDirect

I think it's really great that Sir Elton John at 61 y/o (almost 62) has a new young boytoy to put on a shelf with his Emmy's and Oscars. Just as long as David is O.K. with the new ornament. George Michael was a bit too fuzzy anyway. Sir Elton John has surpassed what any rapper/singer could or ever will hope to accomplish. And with very much style and meaningful wording in his songs. Rappers today simply put simple words together about "mo money" and "capping some other ni****". But hey, if your a white man you had better not repeat that word. Make "50cents" to you ?
