Duffy Wants to Win Leo DiCaprio at the Grammys

Duffy has a goal for Grammy night. Sure, winning any or all of the three awards the Welsh songstress is nominated for would be nice, but she's going for a bigger prize. "I want to meet Leonardo Dicaprio," she tells Spinner. Remind her that this is the Grammys, not the Oscars and she's undeterred. Anything can happen in Hollywood. "We're just going to miraculously bump into each other and fall in love. He's a bit of a hottie. He's the crème de la crème of gorgeousness. Who doesn't fancy him? Even my mom fancies him."
If she's going to attract Mr. 'Titanic,' she knows she has to look her best, but when she talked to Spinner shortly before the Awards, she was still weighing her fashion choices. "A lot of designers want to design me something. I'm hoping I can get something from Julian McDonald made. He's Welsh."
Of course any outfit goes looks better with a Grammy as an accessory. She's up for Best New Artist, Best Pop Vocal Album ('Rockferry') and Best Female Pop Vocal Performance ('Mercy[).
And yes, it's nice to be nominated, but Duffy is honest enough to say she'd like to hear her name announced when the envelope is opened. "You get that false modesty: 'It's not about winning.' But with any award, really, you have to say, 'If I took all three home, I would be delighted. If I took home one, I'd still be overjoyed. If I go home empty handed, that's fine.'"
Especially if she has Leo on her arm.
