Record label Shanachie Entertainment is remembering reggae legend Peter Tosh by giving fans, literally, 'The Ultimate Peter Tosh Experience.' The two-DVD, one-CD "multi-pac" honors Tosh, who was murdered at the age of 44 in 1987, with a 30-page booklet of commentary and rare photos, which offer a comprehensive look at Tosh as a musical artist and significant political figure.
Featured on the CD are 15 Tosh recordings, including such classics as 'Get Up Stand Up,' 'Rastafari Is' and 'Downpressor Man,' as well as rare or previously unreleased recordings including 'Watcha Gonna Do' (with Eric Clapton) from 1974. The DVDs touch upon interviews and a bevy of performance footage, including the documentary film, 'Stepping Razor: Red X.' Watch an exclusive clip below.
