Fatboy Slim Enters Rehab

Electronic music giant Fatboy Slim -- real name Norman Cook -- checked himself into rehab on Monday to battle an alcohol addiction. Cook's manager confirmed the news Wednesday.

"Norman is voluntarily seeking help for his alcohol problem but he's in good shape," his manager, Garry Blackburn, told the Telegraph. Meanwhile, the 45-year-old DJ has been outspoken in the past about his enthusiasm for cocktails.

"Sometimes it feels a little undignified but I never seem to get tired of getting drunk," he said in a 2005 interview. "I've tried going on stage sober and it wasn't much fun. There's a certain bravado involved in what I do. It takes a lot of alcohol to stop me thinking 'What are you doing whirling that towel above your head?'"

Cook is married to BBC Radio 1 DJ Zoe Ball, and together they have a 7-year-old son named Woody.
