M.I.A. Gives Baby Boy a Unique Name

Let us preface this by saying: It's M.I.A.'s baby and she'll name it what she wants to. Now that you've been warned, the rapper reportedly named her son Ickitt Brewer.

Little Ickitt had the privilege of being onstage with Jay-Z, T.I., Kanye West and Lil Wayne at the Grammys while still in the womb. Born three days later on February 11th, the boy seemed destined for musical stardom with a rapper for a mom and a dad, Benjamin Brewer, who fronts rock outfit the Exit. Just a few days after the birth, M.I.A. blogged about putting together tour dates and mixtapes with her son, making it sound like he'd have the coolest parents ever.

Alas, childhood probably won't be all sunshine and roses for Ickitt, especially once his classmates learn how to rhyme. We suggest buddying up with Bronx Mowgli Wentz and Apple Martin, and seeking advice from the other oddly-monikered celebrity offspring. We're sure Zowie Bowie, Joe Strummer's daughter Jazz Domino Holly Mellor and, the Zappas -- Dweezil, Diva and Moon Unit -- will all have some words on deflecting schoolyard taunts.
