This precocious New Hampshire band has been gaining momentum ever since they hit the road with Arcade Fire a few years back. (Multi-instrumentalist Tim Kyle was once part of that iconic indie band, by the way). Built upon their impressive live performances, the band's EP is paradoxically full of upbeat songs emphasizing a sense of feeling down and out.

I have an irrational hatred of Arcade Fire, so I wasn't expecting to like this song at all. That said, it's gorgeous and very very good. If the rest of the album is half as good as this song, I'll buy it, Arcade Fire or no Arcade Fire.
