Several weeks ago the news blitz on Nadya Suleman and her octuplets began. It started innocently about a mother and the arrival of eight babies, moving quickly into news updates about her marital status, family situation and a very questionable fertility clinic that willingly implanted a welfare mother of six with eight fertilized embryos. What we saw was a woman with questionable motives, on welfare with six fatherless children, talking about bringing eight new born children to her mother’s home where she was going to live and care for fourteen children nearly single-handed. The woman was clearly not in touch with reality. If I were a California resident I would have been furious as I watched eight more children being added to the welfare system and the care of the people of California.
Then to Nadya’s glee, the media attention shifted into high gear. The vultures descended, bringing cameras and even more national attention. Suddenly she went from a California recipient to a national welfare case, gleefully taking in donation after donation, a new home, new furniture and remodeling and lots of free child care. All of that attention and “stuff” for being a totally irresponsible person and parent.
So why not do what many of you have already stated? Take away the publicity, end the news media blitz, stop sending donations, remove her from welfare (it was all her own decisions) and quit giving her “stuff” including attention. Let her deal with her decisions just like you have to do each day. And, if someone has to pay let’s turn back to the fertility clinic who’s totally flawed ethics created the whole mess.

I'm appalled by amount of coverage octomaniac receives on TeeVee, etc! Celebrity is what she sought; a healthy dose of silence would suffice, IMHO. I daily wish she'd JUST GO AWAY!!

There are nannies with nurse training assigned by a non-profit group called "Angels in Waiting" paid by the State of California to take care of Octomom's new litter of 8. However, there were 3 new complaints filed against Octo-mom already for neglect by 3 of the nurses, so Octo-mom fired the nurses. Octo-mom hired her own nannies. Attorney Gloria Allred is affliated with the Angels in Waiting agency who filed the complaints of neglect against Octo-mom.

We can only hope for the best care for these children, if not the best scenario is for the children to be adopted out to pre-screened childess couples who can provide a loving, supportive, stable home environemtn for these children.

Truly those babies need to be taken away from that octonut mom of theirs. No one person is in no way capable of caring for 14 children with 8 of those being newborns. When will some entity finally realize this and take her to court and take those babies away. That nut is irresponsible. I can't even believe she was allowed to conceive these babies. SOMEONE TAKE THOSE BABIES AWAY BEFORE THEY START DYING FROM LACK OF CARE!!!!!! She cannot care for those babies alone. Since she is taking public assistance to support them, we the people should be able to take them away from her since it is our money that supports them. WAKE UP AMERICA...SAVE THOSE BABIES!!!!!

this mother has to be stopped.. and the babies in such tender state of life now, need to be with nurses and doctors that can help them grow healthy.. this mom is not cut out for it at this time... she isn't able.. please someone take notice, and help these little ones!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
