    Music Appreciation: Brian Williams

They may do their research when it comes to interviewing pop stars, but newscasters generally don't display a working knowledge of indie rock singer-songwriters. However, when stealth hipster Brian Williams wants to get mellow, he likes to "put on a little Cat Power." The NBC News anchor warns, though, that she "will really bum you out."

I am surprised. I figured him for
Frank Sinatra. My husband likes him
and Nat King Cole. After all these years,
I have Muddy Waters running through my
veins. I was such a big fan when I was
employed at G.E. my male co-workers
nicknamed me "Muddy" and it stuck. I was
    18.

mr. william's i have enjoyed your evening newscast's for year's, and will continue to watch. but your gaff about matt lauer deciding to do where in the country is matt, was unnecessary, after all uor government is asking us to spend-spend spend, so that mean's matts travel expenses will be putting it back into our country's caufer's not another country's. there is so much to be seen in our country, and people should take advantage. evev if i had your salary if 10 million a year, i would spend it here in our country. i haven't been out of state since 01, and although i would love to take a trip to calif. to visit my sis , i will just spend some of my $1,200 hundred a month here at home and visit some places of interest here, enjoy your trip brian william's and family.///
