Peter Bjorn and John 'Rock' Around Their 'Block'

After their universally acclaimed album 'Writer's Block,' which yielded the whistling-smash 'Young Folks,' you'd think Peter Bjorn and John would've given themselves some much needed R-n-R. No so. "We took off one night and one day," Bjorn told Spinner at their Interface taping. "So, we never stopped," Peter added.

Indeed, the group has been rather fruitful in many different ways: last year, Peter released his solo album, 'The Last Tycoon;' Bjorn contributed to Lykke Li's 'Youth Novels' and Robyn's self-titled debut, and the group itself released an instrumental album last year, entitled 'Seaside Rock.'

For 'Living Thing,' the group has slowed their tempos down, getting a bit darker and rhythmic at times. While their might not be an easily identifiable moment like 'Young Folks,' 'Living Thing' is chock full of subtle, yet catchy hooks. Or, as Peter describes it: "spooky."
